Item No. 4
. Motion from Councillor Paddy McCartan
To ask the Manager why clusters of trees were cut down in Sean Moore Park, leaving only the stumps. Will trees be planted to replace those removed ?

The trees and shrubs were removed from Sandymount seafront as they are considered unsuitable for this location. It is proposed to plant a selection of native trees in Sean Moore Park and at selected locations along the seafront during the current tree planting season.
